Deep blue, antique gold and vivid green come together in a painterly design recalling great Renaissance frescoes. On the front, a mirrored composition reveals a white dove at its centre, surrounded by garlands of fruit and purple and red flowers on a pale blue ground, framed by golden circles and inscriptions like an illuminated manuscript. The back is the true masterpiece: a monumental arch decorated with flowers, fruit and climbing plants opens onto an idyllic landscape, where a golden avenue leads to a distant palace beneath clouds of blue and gold.
